Employee State Insurance (ESI) is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme managed by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
ESI Registration is mandatory for companies and establishments with 10 or more employees earning a gross salary of 21,000 or less per month (25,000 for persons with disabilities).
